Role Overview:
We are currently seeking an English and Spanish-speaking, detail-oriented, and patient-centric scheduler to assist with appointment bookings for medical offices across the West Coast. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing, coordinating, and scheduling patient appointments while ensuring a smooth and positive patient experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage incoming calls and patient inquiries.
- Schedule, reschedule, or cancel appointments as per the patient or healthcare provider's requirements.
- Use the Epic EMR system proficiently to input and manage patient data.
- Coordinate with medical staff to optimize appointment slots.
- Handle patient communications with professionalism and empathy.
- Ensure HIPAA compliance in all communication and data management activities.
- Stay updated with the policies and procedures of each medical office you cater to.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 2 years of scheduling or administrative experience in the medical field.
- Proficiency with Epic EMR system. Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to multi-task and manage time efficiently.
- Access to a stable internet connection and quiet workspace.
- Flexibility to accommodate varying shifts, including some evenings and weekends.
- Based on the West Coast for alignment with Pacific Time Zone operations.
